Today’s a special day. 

We launched Uru into the world, for folks from near and far to explore the wonders of the West Coast of Aotearoa. 

Uru, meaning West in Te Reo Māori, is tucked away on Charming Creek Road, just below the Kahurangi National Park. It’s here that you’ll find a carefully crafted and considered, passively designed eco-home to rest and recharge no matter what adventure you’re getting up to on the coast.

With some of the country's best mountain biking and hiking destinations right on the doorstep, Uru is the perfect place to get out there and amongst it all.  

Our homes are designed to blend in with the natural environment, and we’ve been intentional around all the little details. From communal herb garden, solid rimu timber flooring, outdoor stone bath, to the e-bike chargers – we’ve not only tried to reduce our impact at every stage but create luxurious stays where special memories are made. 

We’ve put a lot of aroha into Uru and we can’t wait to share it with you.
